No Means No: Why I hate dating

So, I am not the strongest advocate for dating. Let's just say, I haven't had the most amazing times with dating. Don't get me wrong, I've had some good ones, but the bad ones have far outweighed the good.

Top Male R&B Artists With NO Vocal Talents!

Tyrese Twitter rant on male r&b singers. #DAH
So, I have a complete disdain for artists who have made it to the top, with no vocal talents! It annoys me. I went in on the women, Top Female Artist With No Vocal Talents, but I definitely can't leave the men out! Some of them sound worse than the females, and I just can't! It is definitely time for me to get a good rant on. (Haven't had one in a while) Some of you may agree, some you may not, either way, I'm always right, so "FORGET YOU!" (in my cee-lo green from munchkin land voice)

Anti-Valentine's Day Songs (Part 1)

So, like so many others, I will be spending Valentine's Day ALONE! I enjoy the alone time. I will actually be spending mine this year, watching gangster movies! (Don't judge me!) Valentine's has always been just another day for me, even when I wasn't single. I don't feel all mushy and romantic, or anything like that. I don't want to have sex, (which most guys think they are entitled to on this "special" day.) I just wanna chill, eat popcorn, and watch movies. I don't want to be bothered honey. For the past 3 years, I have actually worked on V-day, by choice. I'd much rather make money off of all of you "love birds" rather than spend mine. So, in honor of this special occasion, I have compiled a list of anti-valentine's day songs, just for you guys!! Enjoy!

Double Standards

Was having a conversation with a friend, and double standards came about. We were watching Marsha Ambrosius' video "Far Away," and he asked , "Why couldn't it be two women?" I replied, "What does it matter, they are both homosexual. He said, "It's different, we don't want to see that. It's a double standard." For the life of me, I will never understand why it is so convenient for men to use the term "double standards," whenever it suits them.

The CraigLewis Band: New Single "Real Life"

As you all know, I am  HUGE fan of The CraigLewis band! A few days ago, they posted on twitter that they would be releasing a new single entitle "Real Life." So, to say that I was excited is an understatement. I've been trying to get a song of theirs on my iPod for a MONTH!!

Runaway

Sometimes, you just have to call YOURSELF out and with Kanye West's "Runaway" I knew exactly what he meant. I have gone through most of my life being happy, and a social butterfly. But, I wasn't always the nicest person, at all. I had no problem telling people off and not apologizing. Apologize for what? I always felt like I was right, so there was no need to apologize. As I got older, I realized how wrong and rude I was.

Why everyone always "hating" on my "swag"?

So, @Bossip posted on Twitter today: "Do you guys feel like people throw the word "hater" around too much?" And I replied "Hater is going down with other words like "Swag"...ugh" and they asked the question " Is swag really gone?" I vote "Yes" on issue swag/hater! There are so many people who toss these words around on a daily basis and don't know the definition of them, and they don't describe them! Then they going around saying "You just hatin on my swag!" First off, who are this imaginary "haters," and what "swag?"

Black History Month: Embracing "US"

The month of February is a time where we celebrate "US" as a people. We celebrate those who have, and still are helping to uplift our race. It is a time where think about where we are in this life, and how we got here. It is also a time where we teach our sons and daughters about our history. It is a time that is all "OURS"
