The CraigLewis Band: New Single "Real Life"

As you all know, I am  HUGE fan of The CraigLewis band! A few days ago, they posted on twitter that they would be releasing a new single entitle "Real Life." So, to say that I was excited is an understatement. I've been trying to get a song of theirs on my iPod for a MONTH!!

I am always for amazing new artists and music. I am a music fanatic with a very critical ear. That may come from going to a school for the arts and then constantly telling me to watch this, or watch that, when all I wanted to do was sing some Mariah Carey!  With the uprisal of 1 hit wonders, and all the dance craze movements like "Ricky Bobby," "The Dougie," and who can forget "The Soulja Boy," we tend to forget new artists who actually have talent. We tend to forget that there are artists out their who have honed their craft to be great, and love it, and not just try to make money off of one song, i.e. Kim Zolciac! In the mix, I found...well...they were already out, ok, I happened upon a musical group called "The CraigLewis Band," and well let's just say, they don't have an album, but I can't stop listening!

The Game (More of my thoughts...)

So, everyone knows that I am a fan of the tv show "The Game." When I heard that it was coming back, I was excited. Yea, I was on the fence about it because it was coming out on BET. BET hasn't had a good show in a while, and my skepticalness was running full speed. Well, I guess I should have listened to my inner self, because BET has screwed up a show that was once amazing!

So, let me be honest here, I am a reality tv junkie. To the point where, I have recently began to watch "Jersey Shore." WOWZERS!! But, The ladies of RHOA have taken over my Sunday nights. Hell, they have taken over my life for the past 3 years! I absolutely LOVE this show, because...basically...they are all CRAZY! I like the drama, the laughs, the Girl-Boy Girlfriends, EVERYTHING! Tonights episode left me with so many questions...

Top Female Artists with NO vocal talents!

In the music industry today, all I see is plastic barbies. "Perfect" faces, "Perfect" hair, "Perfect" bodies. With all of the this "perfection" being constantly enhanced, there is no need to worry about how they sound. As long as you "look good," there is really no need to have much talent at all. Long gone are the days where you had to pack a powerhouse voice for someone to even listen to you, let alone buy your record/album/cd. Nowadays with the uprisal of music being made in a studio instead of real using real instruments, and of course auto-tune, there is no need for you to be able to sing at all.

The Game (My Thoughts)

So, my favorite tv show "The Game' premiered tonight, and what a ride they took us on! At first thought, there was a lot going on in the show, but of course at the end...everything EXPLODED! I am going to have to do a rundown on each character!

Why I want to marry Lavell William Crump!!

I have always had a thing for strong, intelligent, black men. I've been spoiled in my life because I grew up around those types of men, including my brothers. I have a host of uncles who have set this same example, so of course, the man that I want has to be all of those, plus more. I think I have finally found him, and so, I think I want to marry him!
